5th & 6th Grade Teacher, Athletic Director
I was born and raised in Watertown, WI, until I went to Martin Luther College. I do not have any siblings, but I am honored to be the first called worker in my family. I graduated from MLC with a double major in Elementary Education and Secondary Mathematics Education. I also have a wonderful wife, Sarah (Kjenstad), who is teaching kindergarten at Bloomington Lutheran School in Bloomington, MN. We are both excited to be a special part of Trinity.
Growing up and still today, I am an avid sports fan. I have always enjoyed playing sports throughout my schooling, including soccer (also at MLC for 4 years), basketball, baseball, golf, and track. Coming from Wisconsin, I also enjoy cheering on the Packers, Brewers, Bucks, and Badgers (even though my wife is a Vikings’ and Twins’ fan). In my free time, if I am not watching or participating in sports, I enjoy playing board games, card games, and hanging out with friends and family. I am very happy and excited to be a part of the Trinity family.
