Principal, 7th & 8th Grade Teacher
I grew up in Star Prairie, Wisconsin, a small town on the Minnesota-Wisconsin border. I attended St. Croix Lutheran High School and went on to earn my Bachelor of Science in Education from Martin Luther College, focusing on Elementary Education and Secondary Social Studies.
After graduation, I served as principal and 5th–8th grade teacher at St. John Lutheran in Hemlock, Michigan, for five years. In 2023, my family and I moved to Belle Plaine. I completed my Master’s in Educational Leadership and Administration from St. Cloud State University in August 2025.
My wife, Bridget, and I met in high school. She attended Bethany Lutheran College and earned her Master’s in Special Education from MSU-Mankato. We got married in 2018 and have two children, Emilia and Everett. We also have a yellow lab named Zoey.
In my free time, I enjoy hunting, fishing, watching Minnesota sports, and spending time at the lake with my family.
