The kids are down to the final weekend to work on their science fair projects. Since I don’t check email over the weekends, if you have any questions, please try to reach out before Friday afternoon. Remember that if you get stuck, there is a sample project on the 3rd and 4th-grade page on our school website. I know for me it is really helpful to see a concrete example of how a finished project should look. All science fair projects are due back to school next Thursday. If at all possible, please try to wait until next Friday to bring them. I only have so much room in the classroom and would hate it if anything were to be damaged due to less than ideal storage.
This next week the fourth grade will have a math test. On Thursday there will be an English test, and on Friday will be the usual spelling test. Towards the end of next week, we will start to review for the first S.S. test of the year. Please keep working on the vocabulary with your student and use the corrected review as a study guide (it will most likely come home next Friday) as a study guide.
The next Scholastic Book orders are going home. They are due back to school next Friday. Please either pay with exact cash, a check made out to Susan Van Houten, or go online and place the order using our classroom code.
