This next week will mark the start of our final round of NWEA testing. Like the winter testing session, I will once again be splitting the tests across two weeks so that our students don’t burn out on testing among the other activities for the week. Please help your students do their best by ensuring that they get a full nights sleep and eat a healthy breakfast before coming to school.
Next week the third-graders will be taking a math test on Tuesday, the fourth-graders will have a math test on Friday, and the usual spelling test will be on Friday as well.
Please remember that on Thursday we will be heading to the MLC play. It would be great if all of our students would be dressed in their black Trinity shirts. Something so simple really does help us keep track of all our students in this type of setting. Also, if you haven’t returned the permission slip along with payment for this field trip please do so by the end of this week.
Next Friday, I will be leaving school early as I will be heading up to St. Croix with our 5-8th-grade track team. If you need to get a last minute message to your child, please call the office, and Mrs. Vinkemeier will make sure she passes it along to the teacher in charge.
