We are over halfway through the month already. That means that there is less than half of the month for the students to earn their A.R. points. Remember that third-graders need three points, and fourth-graders need four points.
Don’t forget, K-8 sing this Sunday in church!
This coming week the fourth graders will have a math test on Thursday. In English, the students will be writing their first rough draft of a three-point expository paragraph. On Friday the students will have the usual spelling test. Also, please note that we will be working on the first half of the 3rd Article. If this is brand new for your child, please consider getting a head start on this over the weekend.
You will see something new in the homework pdf file this week. In reading class, we will be moving into our textbook and workbook. When the assignment says “Lab” and is followed by a page number that means that the assignment comes out of the Literacy Activity Book (the workbook) or “Lab” for short.
