January 18-20

This next week will be a short week, as there is no school on Monday or Friday of the upcoming week.  However, we will still be busy in the classroom.  The third-graders will be starting a new novel, Henry Huggins and the fourth-graders will have a math test on Tuesday.  We will not have a new spelling list this week, but we will work on our handwriting each day.

We have now finished up the second set of ChristLight lessons. Please send the blue folder back to school by the end of the week.  A new folder will be coming home for the remainder of the school year.

This next week we will have dress-up days to show our school spirit.  This year, the eight-graders picked some days that I think will be easy and a lot of fun for the kids to execute.

Tuesday:  Fake Injury Day  Students can come to school with bandaids, braces, ace wraps, etc. to “treat” their fake injury.

Wednesday: Athlete or Brainiac Day  Students can dress for their favorite sport or as a “Brainiac” student.

Thursday: Red and White Day  Students can come to school showing their Trinity pride by wearing Trinity shirts, or dressing in red and white.
