UHG! We can’t be turning to the final calendar page for the school year already! This year sure is going by fast.
This upcoming week will be another busy week in the classroom. We will continue with our literature circles as we read Little House in the Big Woods. On Tuesday, there will be a test in English on business letters. On Wednesday, the students will take the chapter 6 Social Studies test in addition to a third-grade math test. Finally, the students will have the usual spelling test on Friday. Please note that it will be another big memory work week as the students will need to say the whole 3rd Article of the Creed.
Please note that the May hot lunch order forms are due back today.
There are just two days left of Spirit Week! Keep that school spirit rolling!
Thurs., April 29: Fantasy day – Dress as your favorite Disney or fantasy book/movie character. No scary masks or anything that would interfere with one’s ability to learn.
Fri., April 30: Trinity day – wear Trinity colors or attire with our Trinity logo.
If you choose to order a yearbook, please note that the due date for the forms is May 3.
Our final Scholastic Book order will be coming home soon. This order is due back on Friday, May 7. Please remember that you can order online with the classroom code or send exact payment back to school in the form of cash or with a check made out to “Susan Van Houten.”
