Week of October 4-8

Thank You, Krystle and Paul!

October 2nd is Custodial Worker’s appreciation day, and we sure are thankful for Krystle and Paul, who keep our school clean, disinfected, and running smoothly.  The work that they do truly is appreciated and is noticed by many.  Thank you!

Congratulations to the Volleyball B-team

The B-team Volleyball players had a very successful season.  They had their last match on Tuesday and finished the year with a 4-2 record!  Way to go, girls!

New Trinity Care Staff

Mrs. Sarah Schmitz has been hired to tend to the after-school portion of Trinity Care.  She is a Registered Nurse and mother to three Trinity students!  Welcome to the Trinity team!

Gertens Greens and Poinsettias

PTO is sending home with your child information about our first fundraiser of the year.  Please note that all orders will be placed online this year, and nothing needs to be returned to school!  The website is open for orders until October 21.

Trinity Care Sign-Up

This year we are once again asking families to sign their child up at least 24 hours in advance for Trinity Care. This includes all students that are using the program as they wait for sports practices. All you need to do is go to this link and fill in your information. Remember, you will not be charged if you sign up your child and then don’t use the program. This sign-up sheet just helps us plan how many students will be there and for how long.

Old iPads and Chromebooks

Since we have replaced all of our student devices, we are offering the old devices to families.

The iPads are old enough that they no longer will support updates.  With this in mind, we are giving those devices away free to interested families.

The Chromebooks were purchased in 2015 and 2016 and did still serve our students well last year.  We are asking $25 for these devices.

If you are interested in any of these devices for your family, please contact Susan Van Houten.

Trinity Care Help Needed

We are still looking to hire people to supervise Trinity Care in the morning (7 a.m. – 8 a.m.).  This job could be divided over a couple of people. If you are interested or know of someone, please contact Lori Holicky at 952-769-3163.

Forms

If your family was missing any forms from the registration packets, they were sent home with one of your students on Thursday. Please complete these as soon as possible.  They can be turned into your child’s classroom teacher or Mr. Weiers in the Principal’s Office.
