November 22-23

Can you believe that next week is Thanksgiving week already?  I think part of the reason I have a hard time believing it is because, overall, we have had a relatively mild fall.

Thank you for setting aside time in your busy schedules to meet with me this week.  It was great to sit down and celebrate the growth of your student.  If at any point during the school year something comes up, please don’t hesitate to reach out.  I am never too busy to focus on the students and their growth.  That is my most important priority in my day.

Don’t forget; the 3-5 students will be singing in church this Sunday.  We will be singing near the beginning of the service after the prayer of the day. I hope to see as many of you as possible.

With the short week next week, we will not have a new spelling unit.  Also, the students will not have a hymn due; instead, we will finish memorizing that last part of Luke 2 for the Christmas program. Please note that the students will be starting to review for their next Social Studies test.  Keep working on those vocabulary cards to help them be successful.

With just a little over a week left on the calendar for November, this would be a great time to check in with your student to see if they have hit their A.R. reading goal yet. So far, five students have, and three more are less than a point away.

Here are some important dates for your calendar.
