I can’t believe January is almost over already. It seems like Christmas was just a couple of weeks ago.
This next week we will be busy in the classroom. The third-graders will have a math test on Monday. Both classes will be starting new novels in reading class this week. There will be a math test for the fourth-graders on Wednesday. The chapter 9 English test will be Thursday, and the usual spelling test will be on Friday.
We will be writing the first draft for the Social Studies Fair on Tuesday and Wednesday, so please make sure your child has all of their research done and ready to go Tuesday morning.
Not everyone has reached their January A.R. reading goal yet. Please check with your child to see if they still need to earn their points. Monday will be the last day to take tests for January.
If you have not sent your child’s report card envelope back yet, please do so as soon as possible.
