As I was flipping through my plan book the fact that we only have 2.5 weeks of school left is kind of scary for me! There is so much to learn yet and the end of the year is staring us right in the face.
Next week the third-grade students will have a math test on Monday, and the fourth-grade students will have a math test on Thursday. In Social Studies we will be starting to review for the students’ last chapter test. Also, the students will have the spelling test for Unit 12, a review unit, on Friday. In addition to these things, we will be finishing off prepping for our class skit during the week.
On Tuesday the students will have a guest teacher, Mr. Unke! I will be leaving before school to take the 5-8th graders to a softball tournament in North Mankato. Since a large chunk of our student body will be missing, there will not be the usual departmentalized schedule in the afternoon.
Grandparents/Special Person day is this coming Friday. If you would like your child to go home with their special guest at the end of the day, please let me know that ahead of time.
Here are some important dates for your calendar.
