Starting on Sunday, there will be a book fair set up for USBORNE books. The book fair will be set up through Thursday evening conferences. Yesterday report cards went home. Please send the envelope back to school empty and signed as soon as possible so that they can be kept safe for the next quarter.
This next week will be busy in the classroom. On Tuesday the fourth-graders will have a math test, the third-graders will have math test on Monday of next week, and the usual spelling test will be given on Friday as well. The students will also start to review for the next Social Studies test on Thursday.
Don’t forget that next Friday we will be attending a play at West Lutheran. Please remember to dress your children in their black, Trinity shirts.
This next week we will start to work on memory work for the Christmas program. Since our class numbers are small, all of the students will be learning the whole Luke 2 portion. I want to make sure everyone has a chance to learn this before we start to do all-school practices; therefore, we are starting early. However, it will also be important that your student reviews these items frequently so that they stay sharp.
We are now done with the first of the ChristLight folders. If you haven’t already sent them back to school, please do so ASAP as a new folder will be coming home soon.
