I know the weather forecast doesn’t look great for the weekend, but I hope everyone has something fun and relaxing to do with the extended weekend. Don’t forget; there is no school next Monday in honor of Presidents’ Day.
As I look forward to next week, one important event stands out, the Mizzy’s Pizza Fundraiser. If you are looking for a night off from cooking and for a way to support Trinity, then next Tuesday is your night to do that! When you order, mention “Trinity Lutheran School,” and a portion of your purchase will come back to school.
Next week we will continue with our final NWEA MAP tests. So far, I am thrilled at the growth that I see when comparing the fall to winter test scores. Let’s keep that momentum going!
Next week will be a quieter week in the classroom. There are only two tests next week. The third-graders will have a math test on Friday along with the usual spelling test.
How is your child doing on reaching their AR goal? We are halfway through the month already, and so far, 3 students have hit their monthly goal, and another 3 are over halfway. Keep reading!
Don’t forget to have your child bring their reading log back tomorrow, Friday. Those who hit their goal will be entered in the drawing for a free book.
