The second quarter is officially over, and the report cards will be going home tomorrow, Friday. Please remove the envelope’s contents, sign on the line for the second quarter and then send the envelope back to school as soon as possible. If you have any questions about your child’s grades, please don’t hesitate to ask.
This next week we will again be busy with many different things. The students will be taking the chapter 11 Social Studies test on Monday. The fourth-graders will be finishing up their current reading novel. We will have a few workdays for the Social Studies Fair, and the students will have their usual spelling test on Friday.
This Sunday, grades 3-5 will be singing in church. Please have your child sit with your family during the service. When we get to hymn # 868, please have your child come to the front of the church at the pastor’s direction.
The students now have just over a week to earn their A.R. points for the month. Seven students have hit their goal already, and two more are over halfway. Please make sure your child brings their library books to school every day, so they work towards their goal when the time is given.
Lately, several students have been borrowing my silverware for their lunches. Please remember to pack utensils for their lunches. In the past, some students kept a whole box of plasticware in their lockers to have what they needed, which worked well too.
