Well, another unusual week is in the books. Hopefully, next week, we will be able to settle back into a more normal routine with fewer distractions.
Please note that a few things that were scheduled for last week didn’t fully happen and have been relocated to this upcoming week. The fourth-grade math test is now on Monday, and they will also have an English test on Tuesday. The fifth graders will have a math test on Thursday. The usual spelling test is back on Friday.
Please note that all art projects from the past couple of weeks are due on Wednesday. Also, the 5th-graders’ Zink boxes are due at the end of the day on Monday. I plan to use Monday’s art period as a catch-up time for all of these projects.
In Science, the students will have at least 2 class workdays for a Biome Project. I don’t know an exact due date as I need to see what kind of progress they make at school.
Next week, we will wrap up our unit study of Minnesota history and transition to the big Social Studies book for the rest of the year.
There is only one week left to take A.R. test. Nine students have achieved their goal, and three more are within one point. How is your student doing?
