Given the stretch of weather that caused school delays and cancellations, I wish I could say that this next week will be a normal week. However, this next week is SPIRIT WEEK! Here are the dress up days for next week.
- Monday, Feb. 18: Character Day. Students can dress up as their favorite character from a book or a movie.
- Tuesday, Feb. 19: Comfy Clothes Day. Wear your most comfortable clothes and enjoy the day.
- Wednesday, Feb. 20: Matching Day. Dress alike (or mostly alike) with a friend or friends. Be twins, triplets, quadruplets, or whatever sized group you wish.
- Thursday, Feb. 21: Red and White Day. Dress up in red and white and show your Trinity Tiger pride. Feel free to wear a Trinity t-shirt, too.
This next week we will try to settle back into the normal school routine as much as possible now that NWEA MAP testing is done. The students will have a Science test on Wednesday, and the usual weekly spelling test will be on Thursday this week.
We are halfway through this short month, and so far 4 of the students have reached their A.R. reading goals for the month. Please keep encouraging your student to be reading at home each night. Also, please keep recording the amount of time they spend reading on your month log sheet for our Read-athon.
