This next week will be a lot of business as usual in the third and fourth-grade classroom. There will be an English test on Monday, the third-graders will have a math test on Friday, and the usual spelling test will be on Friday as well. Also, please note that since Wednesday is the start of the Lenten season, we will not have spelling assignments on Wednesday to try to lessen the homework so that families can attend the mid-week services.
Please note that the next book orders did go home yesterday. These are due back tomorrow, March 1. If you wish to place an order, you can order online, send exact cash back to school, or send a check made out to “Susan Van Houten.”
Please make sure you send back your final reading log today, Thursday. Tomorrow we will be doing a number of activities in the afternoon as we wrap up our “I Love to Read Month!” If your student would like to bring a blanket or small stuffed animal (backpack sized or smaller) to read with, they may feel free to do so.
Finally, please note that the March hot lunch forms are due back to school on Friday.
