This final week before Christmas will be a busy, hectic week. We will be having a Social Studies test on Thursday, there will be a math test on Thursday as well for the fourth-graders, and we will have the usual spelling test on Friday. Additionally, we will be doing our Christmas program at the Lutheran Home on Wednesday and then again on Friday at Kingsway.
Also, don’t forget that on Sunday, December 15, the third-fifth grade will be singing in church. We will be singing from the front of the church, so when it is time, please send them on up to sing.
Next week Friday is the last day that we will be in school to take AR tests for the December goals. Some students are off to a strong start and have some points already. Please keep encouraging your child to be reading at home so that they hit their goal.
If your child is planning to play a piano piece at the Children’s Christmas service, please pass along the song’s title as soon as possible.
On Friday, December 20th, we will have a Christmas party in the classroom. I will prepare a few games for us to play, provide a few snacks, and we will watch a movie. The only thing that I need help with is that I need suggestions for a good winter/Christmas movie for us to watch that I can stream from Netflix or Amazon Prime. If you have some suggestions, please let me know as soon as possible.
