November 7-11

Tomorrow is the end of the 1st quarter. That means it is crunch time for some to catch up on any missing work. Next week, we will be sending report cards home on Wednesday. Please remove the envelope’s contents, sign it and send it back to school as soon as possible. Your signature will signify that you saw the report cards.

If you are planning to order from the Scholastic book orders, please have your orders in first thing Friday morning. Just a quick reminder, if you send payment to school, please send the amount in cash or with a check made out to Susa Van Houten.

Next week we will be busy in the classroom. The fifth graders will have a math test on Monday, and the fourth graders will have their next math test on Wednesday. There will be a Science test on Tuesday. There will also be a fourth-grade English test on Thursday. Finally, the usual spelling test will be on Friday.

On Tuesday, the students came home with their school photos. Please note that if you are looking to make use of picture retake day, that will be on Thursday, November 17.
