This next week we will begin the Spring round of NWEA testing. Please encourage your child to use all of their God-given abilities and ensure they are well rested, just as you would for any of their schoolwork.
In addition to the NWEA tests, there will be a fifth-grade English test on Monday, a fourth-grade math test and science test on Tuesday, a fourth-grade English test on Wednesday, and a fifth-grade math test in addition to the usual spelling test on Friday.
Tomorrow, Friday, we will begin the first of our storytelling presentations. The students had been working on these in class. All presentations should have a short, memorized introduction to get the reader’s attention and to introduce their Bible story, and then they are to retell the Bible story from memory. All presentations should be 5 minutes or less. The first group for tomorrow is Calvin, Renat, Austin, Aidan, and Quentin. Next Friday’s group is listed in the spreadsheet.
Don’t forget all lunch forms are due tomorrow, Friday.
Please take a moment to check in with your student to see if they have all of the consumable supplies (i.e., pencils, paper, etc.) that they need for the remainder of the school year.
