Little Caesars Fundraiser

Don’t forget that the Little Caesars Fundraiser is going on now!  This fundraiser runs through Wednesday, May 5.  See attached flyer for more information.

Shorts and Capris Pants

As we get to unseasonably warm weather, please remember that students may wear shorts or capris pants during May or any other time that the forecasted high for the day will be 70 degrees or above.

Help Needed

From now until May 27, Trinity After School Care is looking for someone 18 years or older to supervise students for a few hours each weekday. The individual would need to be available from 3:12 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day, but the length of the day could vary. This is a paid position. Spirit week

The students and staff of Trinity will celebrate spirit week from April 26-30. Students are encouraged to dress according to the theme each day, to help earn the school spirit award for their classroom. The themed days are as follows:

Monday April 26:   Comfy day – (no hats please) wear your pajamas or comfy clothes.

Tuesday April 27:  Color day – Pk/k yellow, 1-2 purple, 3-4 orange, 5-6 green, 7th blue.

Wed. April 28:   Future profession day – Wear clothes that show what your future career                           

                          might be.

Thurs. April 29:  Fantasy day – No scary masks or anything that would interfere in one’s

                           ability to learn.

Friday April 30:  Trinity day – wear Trinity colors or attire with our Trinity logo.

Look for a flyer to come home with your child next week.

Trinity Care

Please continue to register your child/ren for Trinity Care up to 2 weeks in advance. Additional directions are given in the Google spreadsheet.

Cold and Flu Season

Many of you may be wondering what to do when your child develops new symptoms that most likely is related to a typical cold but are also possible symptoms related to COVID-19. According to the most current guidelines, if your child has one of the following symptoms, then they need to remain home for at least 10 days unless a health care provider clears your child to return to school:

  • a fever of 100.4 or greater
    • new or worsening cough
    • difficulty breathing
    • a new loss of taste and smell

Additionally, all siblings must also remain home for 10 days or until a health care provider gives the ok. For more information or questions on whether you should send your child to school, please contact Susan Van Houten or your child’s teacher.

Daily at-home Health Check

Please continue to check your child’s temperature before leaving for school to verify they do not have a fever of 100.4 degrees or more. (Do not medicate your child and send them.)

Also, please perform a visual check on your child for the following conditions:

  • Flushed Cheeks
  • Rapid Breathing/Difficulty Breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Extreme Fussiness
  • Runny Nose
  • Excessive Cough
  • Sneezing
