October 19-23

Did you expect to hear from me today?  I am a creature of habit, and I know your Thursday would not be complete without this very email.  So, here it is, your weekly newsletter about the upcoming week.

Next week, we will be diving right back into all of our subjects, and there will be a few tests throughout the week.  On Tuesday, there will be a third-grade math test and chapter 3 English test. On Wednesday, the fourth-graders will have their next math test. Finally, with it being a full week, the students will see a return of spelling assignments and the usual Friday spelling test.

Please note that on the assignment pdf that there is a hymn listed for Friday.  This is not due on Friday, but rather that is the hymn that we will be starting to study, and it will be due the following week.

We are halfway through October already.  As of right now, two students have hit their goal already. However, most students are less than halfway to their goal.  Please keep encouraging your child to be reading at home and to make sure they have their library books at school for the times I give them silent reading time.
