Hello Trinity families! We are looking for volunteers to help out with this year’s downtown trick-or-treat! If you’d like, you can sign up to stand in Trinity’s booth and help hand out candy. If you are not able to do that but would still like to help out, we are accepting candy donations. The downtown trick-or-treat is on October 30th and our booth will be there from 3:00-5:00. Below are links to where you can sign up to help or donate. Thank you!!  Contact Miss Boeder with any questions.

Cross Country update

I want to send out a huge thank you to Coaches Ahearn and Nielsen for leading our runners during this year’s Cross Country season.  On Wednesday, the students ran in the Twin Cities Lutheran Grade School Athletic League’s meet.  Once again, Trinity’s runners competed with all they had and gave glory to God.  A special congratulation goes to Calvin Bandel, who finished first in the third-grade boy’s division

Basketball Coach Needed

This year Trinity will have 1 Co-ed basketball team that will compete at the Girls’ A-Team level. So far, we have a couple of volunteers to help as an assistant coach, but we still need a head coach to make this season happen.  If you are interested in being a head coach, please contact Susan Van Houten as soon as possible as the basketball season is right around the corner.

Volleyball Recap

Thank you, Coaches Boeder and Nielsen, for teaching our Trinity girls the fundamentals of volleyball.  This year we had players ranging from third through seventh grade out on the court.  It was great to watch a wide range of skills and ages come together and reflect God’s love to each other and to their opponents.   Also, thank you parents for helping get your children to and from practices and games, for helping out with line judging and cleaning up at the end of events.

Daily at-home Health Check

Please continue to check your child’s temperature before leaving for school to verify they do not have a fever of 100.4 degrees or more. (Do not medicate your child and send them.)

Also, please perform a visual check on your child for the following conditions:

  • Flushed Cheeks
  • Rapid Breathing/Difficulty Breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Extreme Fussiness
  • Runny Nose
  • Excessive Cough
  • Sneezing
  • Rash

Please note that students will be admitted into school if these symptoms are connected to a pre-existing condition or diagnosis not related to COVID (e.g., norovirus, strep throat) and are deemed safe by a health care provider.

Extra Cloth Masks

If your child needs more cloth masks, please feel free to contact Susan Van Houten (svanhouten@trinitybelleplaine.org) to request more.  We still have many free ones on hand.

Trinity Care

Please continue to register your child/ren for Trinity Care up to 2 weeks in advance. Additional directions are given in the Google spreadsheet.
